Two days ago we received a call to have a new 40" LCD TV mounted in a bedroom. The funny thing is when we asked if we should bring a TV mount, and cables they replied no "our son works for Best Buy and already purchased everything at cost". Turns out that Best Buy does give their employees a great price on their accessory equipment such as mounts and cables. An 8ft HDMI cable that runs $79.99 to a normal customer is sold to an employee for just $8.00! Wow talk about a mark-up! And a $129 mount is sold at cost for about $45. If you recently purchased a cable or mount from Best Buy knowing what the actual cost is vs. what you were charged might give you a warm feeling inside. (and I'm not talking about a warm and fuzzy feeling). Unfortunately for Best Buy employees there is no break when it comes to Geek service. Best Buy still wants to charge about $450 for the installation with the cables hidden in the wall. That's where we came in. So weather your a Best Buy employee or not, just know that you can't beat the quality or cost of our TV, or Home Theater installation service! Thanks again Best Buy!
